The Gaspar is named after a recently deceased donor and former board member of the Children’s Cancer Center. This member lost one of his children early to cancer and committed much of his life to ensuring all local families of children who suffer through a cancer diagnosis receive the care and support they need through the Children’s Cancer Center.

The Gaspar incorporates our trademark heads-tail design and uses a unique brown suiting pattern on the front signifying Gaspar’s life an an oil industry executive. It also features a large-print oar pattern on the back, representing Gaspars involvement with the Krewe-life, so ingrained in the Tampa culture.
