You’ve been hiking for two hours through the Nicaraguan countryside. Although your tired, there is much to appreciate and explore. The trail winds through dense jungles and you need a machete to clear the way at points. It then opens up to clearings filled with gorgeous flowers and plants you’ve never experienced before. Cows casually graze on the grass which is a good sign. Livestock means you’re almost at the village you’ve come to bring clean water.
